Ordering Information
Detailed instructions are given below for purchasing by check or money order, but you can skip all that and simply order online with a credit card. If needed you may also email or call us at (928) 245-9642 to make arrangements.
Our office hours are Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (MST.) If you need to reach us after hours please e-mail us and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Sending Your Order
- By Postal Service: Send your order, including payment (check, money order or credit card information), to:Black Mountain Jewelry Co., P.O. Box 15213, Rio Rancho, NM 87124-0213. Include 5% sales tax if you are a New Mexico resident, and the appropriate amount as stated above for shipping. Please include the following information with your order:
– Jewelry item name, color, size (if applicable) and price
– Your name, address and phone number (email address is also helpful)
– Shipping address, if different
– Gift information, if any.

Black Mountain Jewelry Company is committed to:

- Using reclaimed, recycled and renewable materials.
- Preserving local culture.
2. Responsible Sourcing
- Purchases Hoover & Strong Ethical Gems™.
- Also purchases through a small Arizona Gemstone company committed to Fair Trade Ethical Materials. This company travels directly to their mine sources all over the world to verify the mining and human rights conditions in the companies it endorses.
- Chooses United States gemstones and minerals from small responsible mining operations and reclaimed by-products from old mining operations.
- Three Arizona Gemstones - Four Peaks Amethyst, Peridot and Anthill Garnet (which is mined by ants and collected from anthills by Native Americans.)
- Diamonds are sourced through Hoover & Strong or through the company's Arizona dealer that has signed the Kimberly Process, whose diamonds are Israeli De Beers Products.
3. Minimizing Environmental Impact
- Mining is a business with negative environmental impact. One gold ring may generate five tons of waste.
- Black Mountain Jewelry Company is proud to be an authorized dealer of Harmony Metals™ from Hoover & Strong. Harmony Metals™ are 100% recycled. Half of this refiner's metal supply comes from scrap metal purchases; the other half purchased from other refineries. This metal supplier has operated business in this way for over 95 years.
- A small percentage of the company's clasps and chains are not produced by Hoover & Strong - therefore they are not 100% recycled but the company strives to purchase these products from US-based manufacturing companies.
4. Supporting the Local Environment
- The company practices eco-friendly manufacturing at its home location in scenic eastern Arizona. It is concerned about the environmental impact of its suppliers as well as its own impact to the local environment.

- NURSES WEEK (May 2008): Donated one Tree of Life© ring to Phoenix Children's Hospital:
| We would like to thank you for contributing the beautiful Tree of Life Ring to honor our nurses during Nurses Week. The winner of the ring was a very special and deserving nurse educator on our cancer unit. She has worked for our hospital for over 20 years, and is currently conducting research that will ultimately help families make decisions about preserving their children's fertility before they undergo cancer treatment. She is also working hard on her bachelor's in nursing and will graduate this summer. The gift certificate for the ring was presented to her after she came back to the hospital to present her research to the night shift at 10:00pm. We are grateful to you for offering such a lovely gift to present to her in honor of her efforts. We appreciate your generosity in helping us celebrate the excellent care our nurses provide to improve the lives of our patients and families. |
- Donated two Tree of Life rings to Good Samaritan Hospital, Phoenix, AZ - certificates for custom rings awarded to select recipients during Nurses Week celebrations.
- Black Mountain Jewelry Co. plans additional gift donations to the health care industry in 2009.
- May, 2008: Unique western belt buckle ($425 value) donated to Butterfly Lodge Museum's annual BBQ Fundraiser (Greer, AZ) to help fund Non-Profit museum
- May 2009: Tree of Life Pendant ($145 value) donated to Summit Healthcare for their annual Diamonds and Denim Ball (Show Low, AZ)
