Our Sonora Star Jewelry Designs were created out of Precious Metal Clay where they were sculpted then fired to form an original fine silver charm. The SS charms in the finished jewelry are lost wax cast out of our studio, hand finished, bezel cups are soldered on, they are soldered to chain, stones set, and patina added in a multi-step process. Headpins are handmade, patina added, semi-precious stones and Fresh Water Pearls are strung on them then wire wrapped to the chain. The final step is the application of Renaissance Wax to each charm. No two are exactly alike due to the nature of the stones used and the hand finishing techniques. Charms average just under 1/2" in size, all sterling silver with a patina.
