Our Sonora Star Jewelry Designs were created out of Precious Metal Clay where they were sculpted then fired to form an original fine silver charm. The SS charms in the finished jewelry are lost wax cast out of our studio, hand finished, bezel cups are soldered on,stones set, and patina added in a multi-step process. The final step is the application of Renaissance Wax to each charm then stringing on Freshwater Pearls. No two are exactly alike due to the nature of the stones/beads used and the hand finishing techniques. Charms average just under 1/2" in size, all sterling silver with a patina.
Sonoran Star Jewelry designs come in 4 color ways: Autumn, Dusk, Tropical and Winter and can include a combination of the following stones
Autumn – Greens & Browns
- Freshwater Pearls, Peridot, Citrine, Smokey Quartz, Quartz Crystal
Dusk – Purples & Blues
- Freshwater Pearls, Iolite, Amethyst, Quartz Crystal, Blue Topaz, Tanzanite
Tropical – Greens, Purples & Pinks
- Freshwater Pearls, Garnet, Amethyst, Peridot, Quartz Crystal
Winter – Pinks, White & Greys
- Freshwater Pearls, Rose Quartz, Labradorite, Quartz Crystal, Hematite
